Welcome to our 12 week 'female' fat loss programme

Losing excess body fat can be a complicated experience, especially with all the misinformation out there. How many times have you started a diet with the intention of losing excess body fat to only find the process is completely unsustainable, and you end up putting all of the weight you lost back on again in a relatively short space of time? Our mission is to end this yo/yo dieting culture. This is why a big part of the 12 week female fat loss programme focuses on education. This involves identifying and amending poor nutritional, lifestyle and exercise habits and focusing on ways to improve consistency. We want you to fully understand how to fuel your body, exercise and exactly what steps you need to take to keep the weight off for good!

This programme is a real eye opener for most of our female clients, who prior to joining the programme, firmly believed that to lose weight they needed to spend hours upon hours jogging on a treadmill, attending spin classes and lifting relative “light weights”. We can confidently assure you that these common misconceptions are definitely not true!

It’s worth noting, that fat loss can be a very different process between men and women. In our experience it’s harder for women to lose excess body fat and build/tone their bodies. This is all to do with the differences in both muscle mass and physiology between men and women. Acknowledging and understanding these important differences allows to help our female clients get far better results. We even take into consideration a Women’s monthly mensural cycle when designing our female clients training and nutritional programmes.

Who is the programme suitable for?

The programme is suitable for women ranging from a professional athlete to a stay at home mum. The programme will be tailored to your individual circumstances, current fitness level, goals, physiology, wants and needs. During the duration of the 12 weeks, your training programme will be tweaked, fine tuned and updated as you continue to progress through the programme. Each stage will build upon the last all designed to carve out a brand new you!

How much body fat can I expect to lose?

The average participant loses between 6-8kg. However, the results may vary for each individual. If you want to achieve similar results it requires hard work and following the programme to the letter.

The sign up process:

Step 1: Upon signing up to the programme you will be sent a welcome email containing various assessment forms, documentation and questionnaires

Step 2: Once you have submitted all relevant documentation, a date/time will be arranged for an in-person consultation/assessment.

Step 3: The assessment process.

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

This consists of finding out your past and current training, nutrition, medical history, lifestyle and work commitments. This information will allow us to structure and tailor your bespoke training, nutrition and supplementation programme around YOUR lifestyle and specific circumstances.    

Initial Nutritional & Lifestyle Analysis:
You will be required to keep a food diary of exactly what you consume over a seven day period. This information will allow us to accurately ascertain how much you’re currently eating and what positive changes need to be made. This will ensure your nutritional protocols will be specific and tailored to YOU and not generic guidelines and food pyramid charts.

Initial compositional assessment using the cutting edge BioSignature method:                                                                                                                     A BioSignature analysis allows you to measure and ascertain a persons body fat percentage, amount of lean muscle mass and where on the body a person is storing large amounts of body fat, which can be contributed to certain hormonal profiles and/or imbalances. This information can then be used when designing your training, nutrition and supplementation protocols. Also, we will be incorporating a monthly BioSignature analysis and progress assessments.

Initial movement screening:
This is where we find out your muscular strengths and weaknesses along with how efficiently your body moves. This information will allow us to really individualise an add the bespoke touch to your training programme, ensuring faster and injury free progress.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

The training programme will be designed for maximal fat loss and to build a lean and toned physique. This will be a 12 week periodised training programme with each phase building upon the last. The programme will outline exactly what exercises you need to perform in the gym along with repetition ranges, total number or sets, tempo and rest times. For our busy clients who travel regularly, we will provide detailed videos demonstrating and exactly how to perform and execute each exercise on your training programme correctly.

NUTRITIONAL PROGRAMME

The nutritional protocols we use will differ greatly over the full 12 week period, all built around your own individual circumstances, with each phase building upon the last ensuring continual fat loss. Our clients nutritional plans are designed on the cutting edge nutritional software iNutrition pro. Your unique nutritional plan will break down exactly how many calories, macronutrients, meals and fluids you should consume over the 12 week period.

SUPPLEMENTATION PROGRAMME

Once we have assessed all of your initial information, we will then design your unique fat loss supplementation programme. We will outline any suspected nutritional deficiencies and recommend any specific nutrients that could aid your fat loss efforts.

PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS

A commitment of 2-4 one to one personal training sessions per week over the 12 week period is required. All personal training sessions will be conducted at the address found on the contact page.
